Bookkeeper

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their dynamic Finance Team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of bookkeeping duties for a diverse range of client accounts, including trading companies. Job Duties:

• Oversee the bookkeeping function for a variety of client accounts.
• Perform accurate and timely postings to the Acumen accounting system.
• Reconcile and process debtors and creditors ledgers.
• Maintain investment schedules for FX trades, forwards, interest swaps, and property deals.
• Assist in the upkeep of policy and procedure documentation related to financial and accounting matters.
• Produce correspondence in response to client queries and instructions.
• Maintain a thorough and organised filing system for financial records.
• Provide ad hoc support to the department Manager/Director and perform additional relevant duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant experience in an accounting environment, particularly in advanced bookkeeping, is advantageous, although training will be provided.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage high volumes of work effectively.
• High level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Proficiency in proprietary office software systems; familiarity with Acumen is a plus, but training can be provided.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to foster professional relationships.
