Corporate & Fund Accountant

Our client is seeking a skilled Corporate & Fund Accountant to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis. This pivotal role will involve managing financial reporting and analysis for a variety of corporate and fund structures. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial operations, providing valuable insights that drive strategic decisions.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing analytical support to identify trends and variances.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage reconciliation processes for accounts and investment portfolios.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries effectively.

Job Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong understanding of financial principles.
• Proven experience in a similar role, particularly within corporate finance or fund accounting.
• Excellent analytical skills with heightened attention to detail.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
