Our client is seeking a dedicated IT Technician to deliver exceptional service and maintain high-quality IT systems for their clientele. In this full-time role, the IT Technician will play a crucial part in the efficient management of all operational tasks, ensuring all systems are monitored and responded to proactively. The position requires a commitment to professionalism as you log, troubleshoot, and escalate alerts while maintaining effective communication with clients. Job Duties:
- Promptly log, troubleshoot, and escalate alerts according to established procedures.
- Follow departmental procedures to ensure all tasks are executed proficiently and within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Efficiently allocate and administer all support calls.
- Conduct essential business checks for various clients prior to their scheduled opening hours.
- Document and regularly update all technical operations processes and procedures.
- Assist in compiling and preparing monthly service reports for clients as requested by the line manager.
- Perform regular security patching for multiple clients, using both manual and automatic methods as necessary.
- Collaborate with Operations and Service Desk staff on a rotating shift pattern to ensure round-the-clock operational capacity.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required to meet business needs.
