Compliance Manager & Deputy MLRO

The Compliance Manager and Deputy MLRO plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation's safety and regulatory adherence. This permanent, full-time position involves leading the daily operations of the compliance framework, helping the business meet its regulatory obligations while supporting commercial growth through pragmatic, risk-based advice. The individual will manage key AML/CFT/CPF and compliance controls, providing oversight of monitoring and remediation activities. Acting as the primary support and designated deputy to the MLRO is also a critical part of this role. By doing so, the Compliance Manager will contribute directly to the organisation’s purpose of delivering thoughtful, personal, and high-quality service to every client. This role requires a proactive approach to fostering a strong compliance culture throughout the business.

Job Duties:

• Ensure operational adoption of best practice AML/CFT/CPF and compliance controls through monitoring, oversight, and remediation.
• Provide technical AML/CFT/CPF and regulatory advice to colleagues and senior stakeholders.
• Champion a strong compliance culture across the business.
• Support the MLRO in the effective operation of the SAR framework, including assessment, documentation, reporting, and governance.
• Act as principal support and designated stand-in for the MLRO.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant professional qualification in compliance and/or financial crime, such as ICA Diploma or equivalent.
• Qualification consistent with Table 4 status or ability to satisfy the relevant competency expectations for the role.
